Country to Coast Care is currently looking for disability support workers in the Forster/Tuncurry area.

🟢 Minimum 14 hours per week available
🟢 Supporting a participant who is a paraplegic
🟢 Must be confident completing complex cares including:
• Bowel care
• Hoist transfers
• Manual handling
• Wound care

We are looking for compassionate, reliable people who truly care about making a difference in someone’s life.

We’re Hiring – Casual Support Worker

We are currently seeking a mature-aged female support worker to support a male participant living with tetraplegia in the Seaham area. All shifts are 2:1.

🕒 About the role:
Set weekly daytime shifts available:
Monday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
Saturday: 9:30am – 12:30pm
Sunday: 9:30am – 12:30pm

✅ Requirements:
Experience with manual handling (essential)
Experience using a ceiling hoist (essential)
Experience with stoma care (desirable)
Compassionate and reliable approach

Kevin dropped into the office this morning during his exercise walk with Kirsty to check out his photo taking pride of place, and safe to say he was absolutely stoked! 👍

The moment he saw it, his face lit up and the room instantly felt brighter, a great reminder of how meaningful the little things can be.

🎉 Yay, we did a thing! 🎉

We are so excited to welcome Sarah, our very first Disability Support Worker trainee to the CTCC team! 👏

She is already kicking goals, and our participants are absolutely loving her. Seeing the positive connections, she’s building so quickly reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

As we head into 2026, we’re embracing exciting new beginnings. At CTCC, we are big on retaining and investing in our staff, and taking on a trainee is a huge step in that direction.
