We are currently recruiting passionate and caring female support worker who is looking to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them, to live independently at home and in the community.
About us
Care Goals Australia is a registered service provider of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We work alongside people with disabilities all around NSW. We provide impartial, compliant, and personalized services. Our goal is to serve persons with disabilities in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.
Requirements for the role:
• Minimum Certificate III or IV in Disability, or Aged Care, Home & Community Care, or Individual Support Services.
• Valid CPR / First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain.
• An Australian driver's licence and a reliable insured motor vehicle is essential.
• Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
• Working with children’s check (WWCC).
• Current police check.
• NDIS workers screening check.
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapy practitioner and care givers to support person / child with disability to be more independent.
• Reliability and compassion for people / children with disabilities.
• Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping.
• Previous experience working with children with disabilities (0-6) years old is preferable but not required.
• Experience with Hoist, Bowel Care, PEG feeding is an added value, not essential.
