If you’ve ever had a pinched nerve, you know how stubborn it can be 😯

One of the biggest challenges with nerve irritation in the neck or spine is that when the nerve is compressed, everything else we try can feel like it’s only giving temporary relief.

Massage.
Needling.
Exercises.
Rehab.

All of those things can be incredibly helpful, but if the nerve itself is still under pressure, progress can be slow.

In this video, Damien is using spinal decompression to help gently reduce pressure around the irritated nerve before moving into the next stages of treatment.

For the right patient, this can sometimes be an important first step before we begin physio, exercise rehabilitation and strengthening.

It’s also an option many people explore when they’re hoping to avoid injections or surgery.

Not everyone is suited to spinal decompression, which is why we always assess your symptoms and history carefully first.

If you’re dealing with persistent nerve pain in the neck or back and aren’t sure what your next step should be, our team offers a FREE 15-minute discovery call to talk through whether this treatment could be suitable for you.

Sometimes the right approach starts with relieving the pressure first.

If you’ve got back pain, you already know this…

Some positions feel okay.
Others instantly flare it up.

That’s exactly why this table is different.

With this decompression system, we’re not locking you flat on your back and hoping for the best.

We can move you into the position your body actually tolerates, flexion, extension, rooftop, McKenzie, whatever gives you the most comfort first. 🙌🏽

Then the system applies precise, computer-controlled traction based on your body weight.

Not guesswork.
Not one position for everyone.

Just controlled decompression tailored to you.

If you’re living with sciatica, disc protrusion, facet compression or persistent lower back pain, this could be an option worth exploring.

Book a FREE 15-minute discovery call with our team to see if spinal decompression may be suitable for you.

It’s Friday. 👌🏾✨

The week’s been long.
Your back & shoulders know it.

Tight upper backs and overworked traps don’t just disappear over the weekend. They usually show up as headaches, stiffness or restricted movement next week.

Sometimes the smartest move isn’t pushing harder.
It’s resetting properly.

Do something today your future self will thank you for.

Book in. Move better. Start next week ahead.

Happy Friday 💙

Stretching every night…
Foam rolling before training…
Heat packs on repeat…

And you’re still tight?

Here’s the part most people miss 👇
Not all muscle tightness is just a muscle problem.

Sometimes it’s driven by your nervous system.

That’s where the Neubie comes in.

Instead of only working on tissue, it works with your nervous system to help reset muscle tone and improve muscle activation. That’s why we often see not just reduced tightness, but better movement patterns too.

If you feel like you’re constantly managing symptoms instead of actually progressing, this could be the missing piece.

Curious if it’s right for you?

Ever wondered how spinal decompression actually works?

In this video, Damien breaks down what makes this table different to traditional traction, and why precision matters when it comes to disc injuries.

Old-school traction used to simply pull and hold.

Spinal decompression is different.

This system calculates your body weight, applies controlled pulses of force, and gently distracts the vertebrae in specific cycles. That distraction can create changes within the disc space and relieve pressure on irritated nerves.

But here’s the real difference.

We’re not locking you flat on a table.

This technology allows us to position you in a setup that feels pain-free first, then apply the decompressive effect in that position.

That level of positioning and control matters when you’re dealing with disc bulges, herniations or nerve irritation.

At Spectrum, this isn’t a stand-alone treatment. It works alongside rehab, strengthening and hands-on care to give your spine the best chance of improvement.

If you’re living with disc-related pain, sciatica, or have been told surgery might be your next step, this could be an option worth exploring.
