In Chinese Medicine, migraines often relate to tension, internal heat or disrupted circulation rising toward the head, affecting how Qi and Blood move through the neck and temples.

When circulation becomes restricted or excessive in this area, it can create throbbing pain, sensitivity to light or sound, and tightness through the neck and shoulders. Triggers such as stress, hormonal shifts, poor sleep or dietary strain can contribute to this pattern.

Treatment commonly involves selecting points along the head, neck and shoulders to ease tension and support circulation. Additional points on the hands, feet or legs may be used to help regulate how Qi moves through the body and reduce pressure in the head.

Acupuncture is used to encourage smoother circulation and help settle overactive patterns. In some cases, gentle Tui Na (Chinese Massage) may be applied to reduce tension. Lifestyle guidance may also be discussed to support sleep, stress management and dietary triggers.

The aim is to help the head and neck feel more settled and allow the body to regulate more evenly.

In Chinese Medicine, fatigue often relates to weakened Qi production or disrupted circulation, affecting how efficiently the body generates and distributes energy.

When Qi isn’t produced or transported smoothly, the body can feel heavy, foggy or slow to recover. Sleep may not feel refreshing, and even small tasks can take more effort than they should.

Treatment commonly involves selecting points that support Qi production, particularly along the Spleen and Stomach systems, as well as points that improve overall circulation.

Acupuncture is used to encourage smoother flow and support how the body regulates energy. In some cases, moxibustion may be applied to gently warm and stimulate areas associated with Qi production.

The aim is to help improve the body generate and distribute energy again.

If you have PCOS, you might feel like you are always trying to do more to help your body.

But one thing to note, when your body is under constant pressure, it prioritises coping over regulation. Hormone feedback, metabolic signalling, and recovery processes often become harder to coordinate.

In Chinese medicine terms, we always encourage you to ease that pressure off your bodies. By doing so, Qi and Blood can flow smoothly, you might not feel heavy and stuck, things start to recover better.

This is why the recommendation is usually starting with the small achievable adjustments:
Regular meals to help with stabilising energy and signalling.
Gentler movement supports circulation without draining your resources.
Adequate rest gives the body the space to recover.

With PCOS, creating capacity often comes before creating change.
Doing a little less, more consistently, can help your body respond more effectively over time.

Have you ever noticed that when you don’t feel well sometimes, after proper rest, sleep, or a warm meal, things slowly start to improve on their own?

It’s not random at all.

When you rest, the nervous system naturally shifts toward its rest and digest state.
Its the mode where digestion, repair, immune function, and recovery are prioritised.

In Chinese medicine, this is when Qi and Blood are better able to nourish and restore the body.
Its essentially another way of describing the same process, where the body isn’t on guard anymore but is focusing on recovery.

The body can’t fully stay in survival mode and recovery mode at the same time. Nor it should.
That’s why creating the right conditions often matters as much as the treatment itself.

In Chinese Medicine, tennis elbow symptoms are often linked to strain and reduced circulation through the forearm and elbow.
When Qi and Blood are not moving smoothly, the tendons can feel tight, irritated or slow to settle.

Treatment often involves needling around the elbow and forearm, along with points further along the arm that influence circulation and tendon health.
These areas are selected to ease local tension, encourage blood flow through the tissues and help the arm cope better with everyday load.

One small decision can make all the difference.

Bloating and diarrhoea are signs that the digestive system is struggling to stay balanced.
Meals might leave you feeling swollen, heavy or uncomfortable, while bowel movements become loose or urgent.
Over time, this can affect energy levels, appetite and confidence in daily routines.

In Chinese Medicine, these symptoms often reflect weakness or disruption in the Spleen and Stomach systems.
When digestion can't properly transform food and fluids, excess Dampness can build up in the gut, leading to bloating, looseness and discomfort.

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine focus on strengthening digestive function, improving circulation and helping the gut settle into a steadier, more comfortable rhythm.

When digestion feels more reliable, eating becomes easier and your day feels less controlled by your symptoms.

One small decision can make all the difference.
