Andrew Wong Psychology (AWP) is a psychological assessment and treatment clinic that specialises in clinical and forensic matters across areas of law and age ranges. Our psychologists have combined both legal and clinical psychology knowledge, skills, and experience to appropriately answer legal questions with the relevant evidence-based psychological assessment approaches and psychometric tools. We provide psychological treatment for a number of clinical and forensic presentations, including trauma, domestic violence (both victims and perpetrators), child behaviour management, parent management training, mood disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders.

Our Principal Clinical Psychologist, Andrew Wong, will be presenting to members of the NSW Law Society on the topic of "Resilience to Vicarious Trauma" on Wednesday 21 June 2023 12:30-1:30pm.

We believe that this is an important topic for all helping professions, particularly those who are routinely exposed to people in extreme distress, violence, injury, abuse, and neglect. We look forward to raising awareness about staying well while pursuing a meaningful career.

Speaking from experience about this important psychosocial risk factor, Andrew has previously practiced criminal law and civil litigation as a solicitor.

We are a Sydney-based psychology clinic that provides clinical and forensic psychology services to the public. If you wish to enquire about our services, please contact us on info@awongpsych.com.au or call 0412 498 033. We will respond to your enquiry within business hours (Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm).

We only provide forensic psychology services to individuals with a legal representative. We do not provide services to self-represented individuals and will only respond to enquiries from lawyers acting on behalf of their clients.

Please note that we are not an emergency service. ​If this is an emergency, please call Lifeline Australia (for all ages) on 13 11 14, Kids Helpline (25 years and under) on 1800 55 1800, Triple Zero (000), or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.
