Hey parents!

We want to provide you with a chance to learn neuroaffirming concepts and strategies to support the family dynamic as a whole. We want to create a space where parents can learn, up skill, feel supported, and connect with others in their community who get it.

Each session is facilitated by Occupational Therapists and explores areas that impact day to day family life — from neurodivergence and emotional regulation to school transitions and navigating the online world.

Sessions are held on the first Tuesday of each month.
Cost: $85 pp
Time: 7:30pm-8:30pm

We’ll be running two sessions in May, as these topics feel especially relevant and important right now.

Calling all Minecrafters!!!

We’re taking expressions of interest for our OT Minecraft Social Clubs for Term 2 2026!

Is your child someone who…
? Enjoys playing Minecraft?
? Finds it easier to connect through shared interests?
? Enjoys creating, building, and exploring?
? Would benefit from support with friendships, confidence or teamwork?
? Would benefit from support with problem-solving, planning, or flexible thinking?
? May need support with attention, emotional or sensory regulation in group settings?

Together, we support a low-demand, neuroaffirming space for kids and teens to grow in their:
• Collaboration & teamwork
• Social confidence & authentic friendships
• Problem solving & flexible thinking
• Attention, sensory and emotional regulation
• Sensory needs awareness
• Creativity & planning

Group Options:
• Ages 8–11 (In person)
• Ages 12–14 (Online)

This is a space to feel understood, build connections, and share the joy of creating alongside others who get it.

Limited spots available.

Enquire now to organise a 30-minute screener with your child and our Minecraft Facilitators, to see if the group feels like the right fit. You will be sent a checklist of how to set-up and they can meet, play and chat for those 30-minutes to see which group they would be most comfortable in.

Calling Neurodivergent Parents !

Is your child someone who…

• People pleases?
• Masks heavily at school?
• Internalises their feelings?
• Is craving genuine connection?
• Is starting to wonder, “Who am I really?”

Our neurodivergent girls social group offers a safe, affirming space where young girls can:

• Explore who they are — without pressure to change
• Build self-understanding and confidence
• Develop ways to communicate their needs
• Connect with peers who truly get it

Together, we gently explore sensory needs, emotions, and what their bodies and brains are asking for. The goal isn’t to “fix” anything — it’s to help each group member understand herself, recognise her needs early, and build strategies that support her at school and beyond.

When needs are supported throughout the day, those after-school overwhelm moments can feel less intense and more manageable.

Limited spots available !

Reach out to book a 30 minute screener so we can get to know each other and figure out whether the group feels like a good fit for you. This helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

A little peek inside our team’s bags - filled with tools that help us regulate, feel supported and make participating in everyday life wayy more comfortable and enjoyable. From sensory supports to comfort items, these aren’t “extra's” , they’re intentional strategies that honour different nervous systems and working styles.

What is Developmental education ?

Developmental Educator (DE) is an allied health profession that supports people with disability to
build capacity, independence and meaningful participation in everyday life.

Rather than changing the person, DEs work to build skills, increase understanding and shape
environments that support success.

We are here to empower people to thrive, not mask.

> Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out struggling with routines, energy, or executive functioning

Alas! It’s officially the first week back at school for many. How’s it going so far? Manageable, we hope…

Transitions after long breaks — especially into new routines can be tricky, capacity changes and it takes time to find rhythm again. (I wonder where all our spoons have gone… 🥄)

But the weekend is fast approaching - hopefully low demand and restful in whatever way works for you .

Happy Wednesday everyone,
Hope your week is going well so far 💖 !

Sharing part 2 of our “Ways to support your neurodivergent brain when stuck” series.

Just a gentle reminder that strategies aren’t meant to work perfectly all the time. Cycling through different systems isn’t a failure or a lack of “discipline”, it’s listening to your needs and using what works for you.
