March at MTM is looking big!

🥳 After a huge February with 25 events, 158 total attendees, and 15+ new mates joining the tribe, we’re carrying that momentum straight into another stacked month. We also celebrated MTM’s 5th birthday and officially launched The Echidnas, our new female group, which has already brought such a great energy to the community.

Now March is here with more favourites, more fresh events and the World’s Greatest Shave fundraiser.

Three weeks back and MTM has been firing. 🔥

We’ve had dinner and hangouts with solid chats, Dungeons and Dragons with big adventures, Strike Chatswood bowling with nonstop strikes, video games at Fortress with friendly competition, arcade nights with prizes on the line, and Trivia at Fortress with winning streak. And many many more coming soon! 👀👏

Introducing the ECHIDNAS 🦔

Last week, we ran our first girls group meet-up and the energy was unreal. Great chats, plenty of laughs, and a strong start for what this group is going to become. This is a big step for MTM and it means more people can find their place, feel comfortable, and build real friendships through regular catch-ups and events. 🙏

Big update for the whole MTM community: our groups now have names.

A message from Dan, our Director 🎉

MTM is celebrating its 5th birthday, and it’s a big milestone for the whole community. Huge thanks to every mate, family member, Progress Facilitator, and staff member who’s shown up, backed the journey, and helped shape the culture MTM is known for.

📣 We’re proud to announce the launch of our girls group, the Echidnas, creating more space for connection, belonging, and new friendships.

MTM’s future is focused on building an even stronger community, more chances to get involved, and more pathways for mates to grow confidence and social independence.

Asking “Are you OK?” doesn’t need the perfect words. Just care, patience, and time. If someone isn’t ready to talk, that’s okay too. What matters most is showing up and letting them know you care. 💙
