INTERGENERATIONAL PLAY
Intergenerational play is a wonderful way to engage with your loved ones living with dementia.
Being around young children can remind someone of positive memories of their own childhood or when they were a young parent themselves.
The impact is profound and in some cases, individuals who have previously struggled to speak can start forming sentences!
Young children don't see dementia, they see the person.
Come with activities or toys that the individual can use to play with the child so they can engage in meaningful play!
