Our annual Christmas Carols event was an absolute delight, with a packed house of residents, families, and friends filling the room with festive spirit.
The Cotswolds Choir shone beautifully, and it was wonderful to see everyone singing along, smiling, and sharing in the joy of the season. Events like these remind us just how special our community truly is.

🎹 A Sinatra Serenade at The Cotswolds 🎩
What an unforgettable afternoon at The Cotswolds Retirement Village! Residents gathered for a spectacular piano performance by the talented Annette, whose heartfelt tribute to the legendary Frank Sinatra had everyone singing along to timeless classics.

Fedoras were donned, memories were rekindled, and the spirit of Ol’ Blue Eyes filled the room. A special thank you to Rohan Fourie for lending his voice and charm to the occasion, and to all our wonderful residents who made the event so lively and joyful.

The concert concluded with a scrumptious afternoon tea—because no great melody should end without a sweet note! 🎶☕

🌍 Voices of Hope from Uganda 🎶

The Cotswolds Retirement Village was deeply moved by the incredible performance from the Watoto Children’s Choir. These inspiring young voices sang, danced, and shared their powerful stories—all in the spirit of love, resilience, and hope.
Our hearts were truly touched by the courage of these children and the dedication of their carers, who nurture them in challenging conditions.

Through the generosity of our residents, we raised an amazing $6,000 to support their mission—a testament to the compassion and unity within our village.
We look forward to welcoming the choir again on their next international tour. Until then, their songs and smiles will stay with us. 🧡

🎃👻 Spooky Season is Back at The Cotswolds Village! 👻🎃

Get your costumes ready — our beloved Halloween Trick or Treat event returns this year, and it's bigger, brighter, and spookier than ever!

🧙‍♀️ Wander through our enchanting gardens from 4:00–6:00pm on Friday, 31st October, guided by our delightfully dressed-up staff who are here to entertain and ensure a safe, child-friendly experience for all.

🍬 The village provides plenty of lollies, but donations of wrapped lollies are warmly welcomed — simply drop them off at reception before the event.

🎹 The Cotswolds was recently honoured to welcome the extraordinary pianist DJ Ha — a name many will recognise from The Piano on ABC with Amanda Keller.
For those yet to discover his brilliance: DJ Ha trained under the late Alexandra Vinokurov and Aleksei Nasedkin, two giants of classical piano. In his youth, a stroke left the right side of his body permanently impaired. But his passion for music never faltered.

Today, DJ Ha performs with breathtaking artistry, transcribing complex two-handed pieces into five compact fingers — a testament to resilience, reinvention, and the transformative power of music.

Residents and visitors packed the venue, and our audience was utterly captivated by his performance. It was a afternoon of emotion, inspiration, and musical magic.
