We are inviting carers of people aged 75 years or older who have been involved in making decisions about bowel cancer screening, testing or treatment to participate in a 30 minutes interview for a research study.
• Have you cared for a friend or a family member aged 75 years or older who has made decisions about bowel cancer screening, testing or treatment?
• Are you 18 year or older?
• Would you like to share your experience and insights into how decisions were made regarding screening, testing and treatment of their bowel cancer?
• Can you communicate in English?
• Are you currently living in Australia?
If you answered yes to all the above questions, then we would like to interview you!
Who are we?
We are researchers from the University of Wollongong School of Medicine and we are interested in improving the care of older people with bowel cancer. Unfortunately, older people have significantly worse outcomes from bowel cancer and we would like to find out why.
What does it involve?
The interview will last around 30 minutes and will be conducted over the phone or via videoconferencing software at a convenient time. In appreciation of your time, we would like to provide you with a $30 online shopping voucher.
