December is a stressful time for many people.
Try out some of these mindfulness techniques to help keep you grounded 🧘♂️
🎁Box Breathing – A simple breathing exercise where you inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 sec, exhale for 4 sec, and hold for 4sec. Repeat 5 times (2-3 second holds are perfectly fine too).
🎁5 Senses Exercise – Name 5️ things you can see, 4️ things you can feel, 3️ things you can hear, 2️ things you can smell and 1️ thing you can taste.
🎁Scream Into a Pillow – An oldie but Goldie; grab a pillow, hug the pillow against your face and scream. Don’t hold back, long guttural screams are recommended (think Cthulhu).
