Purslowe Tinetti Funerals

Purslowe Tinetti Funerals We are a family owned & operated Funeral Home in Northam, specialising in personalised & professional Cremation & Burial Services in country & metro areas.

Rob & Dianne Tinetti, along with their daughters Tina, Adene & Hollie specialise in personalising services to suit the individual needs of your family. Services can be held in our chapel, a church, your farm, by the river, any place that is special to you. Butterflies, doves, balloons and seeds can be released at your service. We do our best to help you celebrate a unique life lived. Share memories by adding your own photos to our coffin art wraps. We also print matching urns, service sheets, bookmarks, stubby holders, candles and more. We provide photo tributes on dvd and a hard cover memorial booklet of your photos as a lasting memorial. We will arrange everything for you, just call us to make an appointment to discuss your wishes, be it a small private service for family to mourn, or a large celebration of a life well lived.

We support local Dying to Know events so please reach out if you would like us to come along and answer any questions people have about end of life planning.

💛What do most bereaved people want from another person?
- A witness to their pain and grief
- Escape from people who inflict cheeriness
- Support, time, space
- An outsider to accompany then through grief
- Validation of their feelings
- Reflection on their coping and solutions

Thanks to Chris Hall from Grief Australia for sharing this at the Oceanic Palliative Care Conference today – insightful, practical, and kind.

It’s a timely reminder, especially with R U OK? Day – many people want to check in on someone who’s grieving but aren’t always sure how. This might help bridge that gap.

“Dying To Know Day” contact us if you, a group or team would like an informal chat - you can never have too much knowledge. After nearly 32 years guiding families at their most vulnerable time, you can ask us anything.

Dying to Know Day is on 8 August - a powerful reminder to have open, honest conversations about end-of-life planning and how funerals support us through grief.

When a loved one dies, it’s natural to want to avoid pain but it’s often the rituals we’re most hesitant to face that help us the most. Rituals like funerals and viewings play a vital role in helping us acknowledge death, honour the person who has died, and begin the healing process. A viewing, in particular, offers a meaningful opportunity for one final goodbye.
