I'm Boyname (they/them), the owner and creator here at Boyname Align 🙂

Welcome! A little about myself: I am a q***r,
non-binary, trans performance artist based here in Boorloo who graduated with a Diploma of Remedial Massage this July.

I am super passionate about massage with its
abundance of benefits, extremely fond of soft French cheese and kind of addicted to the sauna...(helps sweat out the cheese!) I love swimming, being creative and leading a balanced and colourful life.

Boyname Align is something very dear to my heart as I am all about community, and for me this a way that I can help my community heal. I understand through my own lived experience of q***rness, transness and disordered eating that touch based therapy can be quite daunting, especially when you don't know your health care provider or are stepping into a space for the first time. Boyname Align makes touch based therapy accessible to all, as it should be.

Hi Everyone,

I am so excited to introduce to you a project I have been working on over the last year now coming to the BoyName family - BoyName Align.

For my community, BoyName Align is a q***r led, q***r focused space that welcomes and encourages all bodies to Align with their best selves. Based initially in remedial massage therapy, my intention is to create a space that facilitates healing, growth, connection, collaboration and community.

On a personal note, massage is something I have always loved. For me though it remained a therapy I never felt entirely comfortable engaging with. Dysphoria, dysmorphia, anxiety, q***rness, disordered eating and a challenging relationship with my body has seen me forgo necessary treatment on multiple occasions. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to receive this kind of therapy. As a result, I have created a welcoming and safe space whereby bodies of all description can feel at ease, and know from the onset that they are seen, validated and respected. All bodies are welcome, always.
This will be a mobile service with rates reflective of the current achievements in my course, to be reviewed at completion of the diploma in June with receipt of a health care provider number.

As my practice develops, I will be expanding into more holistic and collaborative ventures with some pretty amazing things in the pipelines. So watch this space, please share the love, and book in.
