Black Walnut (Juglans nigra)
Today I was making Black walnut tincture. I forgot to wear gloves and the juice from the hulls stained my hands black. ‍😆
Black walnut hulls are used to expel intestinal worms. Chinese medicine uses it to kill tape worms. Its depurative action helps to excrete waste making it useful for constipation and chronic skin problems, it is also used externally for skin complaints such as eczema, psoriasis and herpes. External applications have also been known to kill ringworm (Fungal infection).
On a side note. The staining is a natural plant-based Iodine which is great for cuts.
They also taste good as well. 🌿🌿

I had an earache a couple of days ago, and I called upon my powerful herb Mullein (Verbascum thapas) to help.
I made an oil infusion of the fresh flowers and added some fresh garlic. This worked a treat.
Mullein is traditionally used for respiratory conditions such as coughs, colds, and hayfever.
Mullein is also great for flatulence, cystitis, and urinary tract inflammation as well as diarrhoea and candida.
Parts used are the leaves, flowers and roots.

The flowers on my Golden Rod (solidargo canadensis) plants at the moment are amazing. They are a fluorescent yellow colour.
Medicinally Golden Rod is used for the treatment of respiratory conditions such as coughs, colds and hay fever, as well as cystitis, urinary tract inflammation, diarrhoea and candida ( internally and externally).
Golden Rod has also been used for wound healing and to stop bleeding.
The whole plant is edible and the parts used for medicine are the flowers and leaves.
I will be making powerful medicine with the beautiful plant today. 🌿🌿
