While I was away, I walked nonstop - from morning to evening, just kept going (usually to my next food stop ๐).
I noticed a huge change in how my body felt and functioned - my hips freed up, my core became stronger, my breathing improved...
Then I noticed these things again when I returned home, how my body differed in my daily practices, how much more I sit... alas we must work and complete daily tasks, it is the way of the world.
But it was a reminder of how important movement is... regular, bountiful movement. And the profound effects it has on the body. Whether it's before work, between emails, during your break, after work, after dinner... add it in! As much as you can!!
