Our hearts go out to the Bondi community and to all those affected by this senseless tragedy.

No words can ease the pain of seeing innocent lives taken while people were simply going about their day in a place meant for safety, connection and everyday joy. The grief, shock and fear that follow such violence are immeasurable.

It is the responsibility of all Australians to stand united, to wrap our arms around Australia’s Jewish community, and to offer solidarity, compassion and support through this incredibly difficult period.

Violence has no place in our country. Hate has no justification. What must prevail is humanity, empathy and our shared commitment to protecting one another.
