We took on the alternate course at Pakapakanthi parkrun today and the collective view was that it’s a great track - possibly the best version of Paka so far!

Post run coffee enjoyed at The RUNHÔUSE.

We ‘returned to the womb’ today and went back to where it all began - Seacliff Esplanade parkrun! 222 down there today but I must admit, it felt like more.

With one member out of action due to existing commitments, three of us ventured to Myponga Reservoir parkrun today. We were greeted by sunny weather and even sunnier smiles from the vollie crew and anticipation was high.

The course is a loop, possibly one of only 3 loops in SA. Starting near the reservoir and winding down to the water’s edge was very picturesque, before the terrain kicks in and you return via some “higher ground”.

Yours truly rated it in the top 3 in SA, although other members commented on the elevation (approx 96m) and may not have assessed the course quite so highly.

Overall, a great morning out and worth the drive. Thanks for having us!
