What a beautiful way to honour her valued contribution
The family of a "very passionate speech therapist" who died protecting children from a runaway truck, has set up a memorial fund in her name.
Eleanor Bryant's family are funding allied health students who wish to work in rural communities.
Her husband says the fund "aims to help bridge the gap between the skills that were afforded to allied health and speech therapists in city areas that aren't provided in rural areas."
The Eleanor Bryant Memorial Fund will also hold a Bush Summit later this year, bringing together parents, carers, educators and allied health staff to help find a way to bring more services to the country.
