Welcome to the team, Maitreyee

Our Specialist Behaviour Support team is growing – which means we have immediate capacity to accept new referrals, with both male and female practitioners available. But first, a little about Maitreyee:

Maitreyee holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Human Services and brings experience supporting individuals with Autism, Schizophrenia, and Traumatic/Acquired Brain Injuries (TBI/ABI). Her strong foundation in trauma-informed practice has been especially valuable in assisting clients navigating grief and loss. She has worked with a wide range of clients across diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds and is fluent in both Hindi and English.

With a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy, Maitreyee is committed to helping individuals build the supports they need to enhance their overall quality of life.
Outside of work, Maitreyee enjoys movies, cooking and baking, and exploring creative arts and crafts.

We offer tailored Specialist Behaviour Support across our facilities in Stepney, Windsor Gardens and Noarlunga, with services also available throughout metropolitan Adelaide – including Northern and Western suburbs – whether you prefer support at home, school, or in a community setting.

Stephanie brings four years of diverse experience in the disability sector to her role, with a strong focus on mental health.

Known for her compassionate and empathetic approach, she is deeply committed to empowering others to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys playing soccer, spending quality time with friends and family, and travelling whenever she can.

Get to know our Client Engagement Team - Part 2

As another Friday rolls around, we’re excited to introduce the next member of our Client Engagement Team — the friendly voices you’ll hear on the phone and the helpful words behind an email.

Meet Greg, one of our Client Engagement Consultants.

With 35 years of experience in retail leadership across SA, NT, and WA, Greg made the move into the disability sector to make a meaningful impact. At DLi, he supports existing clients, welcomes new ones, and works closely with our Specialist Behaviour Support team.

Greg is married to Karen, with four adult children, four grandchildren (with another on the way!), and two fur babies. A big sports fan and a keen (but self-confessed “ordinary”) golfer, he also loves caravanning and travelling overseas whenever he can.

Passionate about delivering meaningful support, Greg is excited to be part of our fantastic team and help drive positive outcomes for the people we support.

For the next few Friday’s we’ll be introducing members our newly formed Client Engagement Team - the friendly voices you'll hear over the phone or their helpful words behind an email.

Whether you're enquiring about new services, updating your details, or just need some guidance, our Client Engagement Team is here to support you every step of the way on your journey with DLi.

With a strong focus on providing responsive, person-centred support, the Client Engagement Team is ready to help both new and existing clients discover what’s possible.

Let’s start the introductions with Amanda, our Client Engagement Coordinator. Amanda brings over seven years of both professional and lived experience in the disability sector to her role at DLi. She has worked in complex support settings, including with DCP and ENU, and has a strong passion for working alongside neurodivergent young people and their teams.

Known for her authenticity, empathy, and focus on creating safe, supportive connections, Amanda is a valued part of the team.

Outside of work, she enjoys live music, movie nights — and she’s been known to quote The Simpsons more than occasionally!

Lived experience meets work experience at DLi

DLi recently had the pleasure of hosting Loreto College, Marryatville, SA student Coco as part of her work experience placement.

Coco brought valuable lived experience as a sibling to a younger brother with disability, along with a passion for human rights and a goal of becoming a Human Rights Lawyer. We provided Coco a hands-on look at the inner workings of a disability service provider, including:

• Risk and incident assessments with a client focus
• Framework reviews
• HR requirements and employee regulations
• Behaviour Support Plans

We wrapped up the day with a mock scenario on onboarding a new client into our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service.
