Last month, Alcon acquired Cylite and our Hyperparallel Optical Coherence Tomography (HP-OCT) technology. We are excited to work with Alcon to further the potential of this technology in whole-eye OCT imaging and measurement diagnostics.

Demonstrating the flexibility of Cylite's Hyperparallel OCT and true volumetric scanning, this image was taken using the anterior scan mode. Utilising 11mm of scan depth to capture these floaters sitting suspended in the anterior vitreous, they almost represent a far away galaxy. We've called this one the "Hyperparallel Nebula".
Floaters can affect vision, casting a “shadow” over the retina. It’s another good reason to have regular eye checks with your local eyecare provider.

We had a fantastic weekend with all who participated at the Australian European School of Scleral Lenses ⎮ Euroscole event on the weekend. Our HP-OCT with it's 16.4x16.4mm OCT scan enables specialty contact lens clinicians, to better fit and design lenses for their patients. Thanks to Daddi Fadel, Damon Ezekiel and all those attending for a brilliant weekend.
