Job description
Local female disability support worker (casual) wanted for immediate start, regular/ongoing hours.

Location: Between Bomaderry/Nowra & Vincentia/Basin area.

Local registered provider, currently expanding, with local management & local clients.

Immediate hours: Regular/ongoing shifts with local clients/participants available. The successful applicant will commence with:

-Mondays, 8.30-11.30, Bomaderry, personal care/domestic assistance.

-Wednesdays, 12.00-4.00 (flexible), Vincentia, social/community support, companionship.

-Thursdays, 12.00-4.00 (flexible), Vincentia, social/community support, companionship.

-Days and times to be confirmed, Domestic assistance, St Georges Basin.

Increased hours: The successful support worker will have the option of building their client-base as more clients/participants onboard. We have clients currently waiting to onboard once a new support worker commences with our team.

We have one position available.

Experience working in the Aged Care and/or Disability sector is highly regarded.

Experience with use of hoists and other manual handling equipment is highly regarded.

Experience with supporting clients/participants who live with cognitive impairments is highly regarded.

The successful candidate must be prepared to commence with available support hours, and will have the option to build their client-base as more clients/participants are onboarded.

Male Disability/Aged Care support worker wanted for immediate start, regular/ongoing hours.

Location: Nowra & surrounding suburbs.

Local franchise currently expanding, with local management & local clients.

Experience with complex behaviours, and demonstrated knowledge on restrictive practices & safe-guarding/mandatory reporting is highly regarded.

Immediate hours: Regular/ongoing shifts with regular NDIS participant, 14 hrs per week, social and community participation, Nowra. Regular/ongoing shifts with CDC client, 10 hours per week, personal care/social and community participation, Shoalhaven Heads to Kiama and return x2 days per week.

Increased hours: The successful male support worker will have the option of building their client-base once they are able to demonstrate successful support for the clients.

About us:
We are an ethical and fast growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services across the scenic South Coast, extending from North Nowra/Bomaderry to Lake Tabourie, covering the beautiful Shoalhaven region.

We are seeking Casual Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to a range of fantastic clients and participants in various towns within the Shoalhaven.

Our Support Workers are home-based and utilise a mobile work model (with electronic support for administration), attracting a travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities, appropriate to client need.

There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.

All Support Workers are paid according to the SCHADS award and have the ability to build their personal client-base according to what their own circumstances/priorities.

Main responsibilities and activities may include (support worker MUST be prepared to complete tasks below if required):
Assistance with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)
Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
Assistance with medications
Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, + alternate Saturdays

Application requirements required before applicant can commence client supports:
NDIS worker screening check
NSW criminal history check
Working with children's check
Reliable/registered vehicle that is suitable for transporting clients
Current NSW driver's license
Current CPR certificate
Current First Aid certificate

Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)

Work Location: Nowra and surrounding suburbs

Expected Start Date: 30/06/2025
