Diwali in the Shoalhaven✨

What a beautiful night celebrating Diwali — the Festival of Lights — at Two Brown Men in Nowra, in collaboration with Silos Estate Wines.

It was such a great reminder of the colour, flavour and connection that our local businesses bring to the community. Both Two Brown Men and Silos Estate are proud members of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber, and it’s always so good to see our members working together and creating something special right here in the Shoalhaven.

Wonderful to also bump into Tam from MCCI and celebrate together — community, collaboration and culture all in one night.

Some welcome news regarding the illegal to***co trade…

The Chamber has for some time been calling for stronger action to reduce the harm caused by the illicit to***co market—both to local businesses and our community’s health. The announcement that a new national disruption group will be established is a significant step forward. 

We’ll continue to work with local, state and national partners to ensure that this initiative translates into real results here in the Shoalhaven region.

A new "National Disruption Group" will be convened to stamp out the exploding illicit to***co market and other "converging" threats, the home affairs minister has announced.
