The 54th Kiama Sevens Tournament will take place at the Kiama Showground on Saturday, 28 February, kicking off from 8:00am. The prestigious Kiama Sevens Cup will be awarded to the Champion Club, with the Plate presented to the runners-up.

Jenny, our Head of Marketing, recently attended the event launch, where she met rugby greats and honoured guests Scott Bowen, Charlotte Caslick and Glen Ella, along with Event Director Mark Bryant and naming sponsor Kells.

It’s an incredible event on the sporting calender, and we’re thrilled to be part of it again this year.

Today marks the National Day of Mourning, as our country comes together to honour the victims and all those impacted by the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.

Guided by the theme chosen by the Chabad Community in Bondi “Light will win” we reflect in unity, remembrance, and compassion, standing alongside the families, communities, and all who continue to grieve.

All members of the public are encouraged to observe a minute’s silence at 7.01pm AEDT, and to leave a lit candle in their window or on their doorstep in solidarity of the Jewish community and in memory of those whose lives were taken.

Our Managing Director Alan and General Manager Anthony were thrilled to attend the prize presentation on Saturday and catch up with local leaders Liza Butler MP, Mayor Patricia White, and Shoalhaven City Council's General Manager Andrew Constance.

They discussed the future of cemetery and crematorium services in the region and enjoyed connecting with the community.
