I’d stop trying to think my way back.
Because when your nervous system is overwhelmed, insight doesn’t land. It just creates more noise.
Here’s what actually helps:
Get curious about what feels even slightly like you — not what you used to love, just what feels faintly like yours right now.
Reduce the decisions. Simplify the days. Not forever. Just for now.
Find one place your body feels at ease and go there. Regularly. Without an agenda.
And stop waiting to feel like yourself before you’re gentle with yourself. The gentleness comes first. The recognition follows.
