A hemiplegic migraine is a less common type of migraine that presents with stroke like symptoms, often followed by the headache. Most clients that we treat with hemiplegic migraines already have a diagnosis as they have likely gone to hospital and seen a neurologist when they have had the initial episode.

Our goal is always to resolve your migraines, or at minimum make a significant reduction, using the Watson Headache® Approach.

A big welcome to Nicolette Visser who has joined the Headache Neck and Jaw Clinic team as a Senior Associate Physiotherapist.

Nicolette is a highly experienced physiotherapist who holds a Physiotherapy Degree and a Postgraduate Certification in Orthopaedic Manipulative (Manual) Therapy (OMT) in 2005, a program that strengthened her advanced manual therapy skills, particularly for headaches, migraines, the neck, and thoracic spine.

Her treatment approach blends skilled manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, patient education, and open communication, ensuring every patient feels supported and empowered. She brings warmth and compassion to her work, valuing the long-term relationships built with her patients and creating lasting results.

Did you know that we do vocal physiotherapy? We work with many speech pathologists to aid in treating vocal issues whether it is related to singing, or conditions such as Muscle Tension Dysphonia (MTD).

The clinic will be located at 125 Flockton Street, Everton Park, right next to North West Private Hospital.

Our Senior Physiotherapist Rochelle Kay will be working at Everton Park on Mondays from 7.30-5pm & Wednesdays from 8am-5.30pm
