Barossa Physiotherapy Barossa Physiotherapy provides high quality service to every client that walks through the door.

With over 100 years of physiotherapy practice between us, our staff are highly experienced, well-researched, and approachable. With a depth of experience and education usually only found in large city practices, we bring a global standard of service to the Barossa. Tania Materne purchased the practice in 1997, and has spent the last 20 years building it up to be a centre of excellence for Pain and Injury management. We treat all ages, and are experienced in back and neck pain, musculoskeletal conditions including arthritis, sporting injuries, work and motor vehicle accidents and neurological conditions. Through our Head & Jaw Clinic, we also offer advanced management of Headaches, Jaw dysfunction and Dizziness/Vertigo. We also provide Gym rehabiliation, balance and floor-based classes.

To our cherished customers, friends, and community,

After almost 30 incredible years of serving this community, we are announcing the closure of Barossa Physiotherapy. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to find a buyer and this decision was not made lightly, but it comes with a deep sense of gratitude, pride, and reflection.

Since opening our doors, we’ve had the privilege of growing alongside you—sharing in your milestones, your stories, and your everyday moments. Whether you stopped by once or became a regular, your support has meant the world to us.

We want to thank each and every one of you for your loyalty, kindness, and trust over the years. You've helped Barossa Physiotherapy grow into something far greater than just a business.

Our final day of operation will be September 30th 2025. Until then we will be operating as per normal for the final month.

Our team has been the heart of this business, and while their next steps are still unfolding, we will share news as it comes. Keep an eye out—you may see familiar faces popping up in new places soon.

You will still be able to find some of the amazing team who have worked alongside us. Melanie at Cascade Women's Health can be found in Tanunda (4 John Street), Charmaine from Barossa Sports and Remedial Massage will be at Footprint Health as of October, and Caitlin from Fuel Your Life will be at Pro Active Health, Nuriootpa - follow their socials for their updates. And a big congratulations to Karla from Essence Exercise Physiology who is off on maternity leave expecting her first child.

Tania will be working from Angaston as of October.

Clients who are currently booked in after September 30th will be contacted shortly.

Though this chapter is ending, the relationships and experiences we’ve built will remain with us always.

With heartfelt appreciation, Tania Materne.

We are managing the best we can while some of our staff have succumbed to sickness. This may mean that those still at work may be running a little late. We will also try to get back to all messages, re-scheduling and enquiries as quickly as we can. Thankyou for your understanding. Stay well everyone.
