From my post on Facebook on my personal page yesterday on processed chocolate ๐ซ, here is my recipe that I actually have in my published glutenfree and refined sugarfree dessert recipe book. You don't need to give up delicious desserts and chocolate. Just eat real food the body can recognise.
I use real cacao from the actual chocolate bean.
Make REAL Chocolate ๐ซ
Here is what you need:
1/2 cup melted cacao butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 cup cacao powder
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch sea salt
Melt cacao butter chunks very low heat. Then measure out half cup. Add coconut oil. Stir. Add cacao powder and stir gently until very silky. Important to be silky. Add maple syrup and stir gently, then add vanilla and salt
Pour into moulds and set.
If you require sweeter as another half tablespoon maple. I like to dollop peanut butter or nut butter into moulds to for peanut butter cups or add orange oil to make chocolate orange or mint.
Note; yes they are dark chocolate. Real chocolate ๐ซ is dark. That is what chocolate really is. Not these milky bars people eat. That's not chocolate at all.
I like to use cacao products from powersuperfoods brand which you can get from healthyfood stores or online. Changing Habits also have wonderful products.
