👏 Well, do we have NEWS for YOU!!! 👏

🍂 Both a mindful art series and a living, breathing exhibition, "Life. A Work in Progress…" evolves each Sunday in August during the 2025 SALA Festival!

👣 From 9:30am-11:30am, art series participants engage in a five-week creative journey blending mindfulness, meditation, and creative expression.

🖌 No final destination—just presence, connection, and change in motion. Each morning, fresh layers of paint are added to participants’ individual paintings and then displayed to showcase raw creative progress.

🎨 The FREE interactive art exhibition then opens from 11:30am-2:30pm. Two additional interactive pieces—one shaped by workshop artists, the other by visitors—grow weekly, reflecting collective imagination.

🥳 The final Sunday celebrates creative kindness with local wine tastings and a silent auction, where the evolving masterpieces will be auctioned with proceeds donated to The Foundation Barossa Domestic Violence Response Fund.

💞 What a rewarding experience to wrap all of the beautiful sold paintings, created by our amazing Inclusive Barossa Artists, ready for their new homes!!!

🫶🫶🫶 I get the feeling that the lovely people opening them might just feel a sparkle of happiness from supporting artists to develop financial independence, self confidence and build community connections ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

🌌 Also, in there is some amazing art by the Tara Kate Arts Therapy & Studio Space Paint Pouring School Holiday Participants! So many amazing things happening around here!

🤗 Check out this playful, expressive series by the Dean Egarr collab! Just 2 awesome friends creating 4 awesome pieces that combine visual similarities and subtle differences to create "Same Same But Different!"

💚 These vibrant abstracts are so curiously textured that Dean Egarr decided to push the traditional gallery boundaries that say "Do Not Touch"...and give visitors permission to GO FOR IT instead! How cool is that 🤩

🌟 By sharing their interest in exploring the sensory qualities of art and allowing us to actually feel the art work is something super special and unique about these pieces and their creators 🙌

😍 How adorable is "Frog" by Abi!

🙏 A massive thank you Laura from for supporting our Inclusive Barossa Artists 💖

🔴 This is Laura adding the special red dot that means SOLD!

⭐️ "Frog" would've been bought at least 3 times by now if there was more of them because they're just so adorably quirky, as frogs are, and our visitors (and staff) LOVE this piece 🐸🐸🐸

🐝 You will get to see more of Abi's amazingly diverse creativity soon, as she will be showcasing her pieces on our Honeycomb Gallery website, due to launch SOON!!

🎨 "HANDS IMMERSED" Barossa Arts Festival exhibition, showcasing vibrant, courageous creativity by Inclusive Barossa Artists!

📸 The photo featured is of the immersive painting process by our artist Sea...wait til you see her actual art work though - it's expressive, textural, bright, beautiful and will transform any space!

🌟 We'll be sharing some of the amazing pieces on display and artist stories with you in the coming weeks so let's support them by liking, sharing, commenting and showing them all how awesome they are!

💞 Come along to our first open day on Saturday 6th April and let's celebrate inclusion through the arts together.

🥰 We are so proud to have this beautiful painting by the amazing Barossa Artist Rebecca Eglinton featured in our "Hands Immersed" Barossa Arts Festival exhibition!
