πŸ‘‹ Hello out there!

πŸŽ„πŸŽ† I hope this between Christmas and New Year situation isn't feeling like too much of a blur!

😌 I'm feeling like I'm emerging a little today, some Monday motivation which I'm grateful for πŸ™

✨️ So before I share some new workshops coming up....I'd like to share a tweak that I've done with my logo first!

🌱 I felt that I wanted to share this little refresh before the new year settles in, so that I can connect deeper with the visual change and start to go with the flow of "newness" with openness, authenticity and courage, instead of building it up with "coming soons" or count downs that often happen on here before a branding reveal.

🩡 The wording and colourful glow with no border around the outside feels more aligned with how I'm seeing my business moving forward.

πŸ™ So.....what do you think?

πŸ₯³ YAY! I've been accepted into the Fabrik Arts & Heritage 2026 Adelaide Fringe Festival Exhibition "Ties"!

When I did my visual arts degree (20 years ago now 🫣) I majored in Jewellery Design & Manufacture....this guided me into a love of Celtic history and knotwork.

I'm SO looking forward to revisiting this, but this time through paint & line work ✨️

I've included the art pieces here that I used for my exhibition application πŸ’œ

1. "Interconnected" (Personal Expression Piece)
2. "Full Circle" - Aerosol on Canvas - Created for the 2023 "Arrival" Exhibition at Gallery 1855, now in its home at Project 18 the wellbeing nook
3&4. Botanical studies
5. "The Space Between" work in progress
6. "The Space Between" Aerosol on Canvas - Created for the 2023 Barossa Regional Gallery Barossa Vintage Festival Award Exhibition titled "Vanishing Point", now on display in the Murray Street Vineyards Tasting Room

So excited and grateful! Thank you Fabrik πŸ™Œ

🎨 Art Therapy sessions all done for the year!

I'll be honest... gosh this year has been a blur πŸ˜…

🚚 Moving studio was a huge job, big changes and lots of self reflection....but I'm just so grateful for my clients. Their ongoing understanding, flexibility and trust in me is more than I could ever ask for πŸ₯°

πŸ™ Grateful that I found the team at Barossa Fun Factory and Lyndoch Community Collective this year too, it feels so good to have like minded people around me who are doing awesome things for our community ✨️ I'm looking forward to seeing what else can unfold in this space in 2026 🐝

πŸƒ This time of year can be fun, joyful and a great time to spend time with friends and loved ones, while it can also be the hardest time of the year for many, so my little message for us here is:

🫢 Be kind - we don't always know what people are going through.

πŸ‘£ Be patient with ourselves and each other - it's busy. Find ways that help to settle, calm and regulate your nervous system if you're feeling overwhelmed.

πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Things dont need to be perfect...our mental health is more important than getting it all done or "right".

πŸ¦‹ Take time to slow down and notice the small things...there is beauty and wonder all around us.

✌️ Be a bit rebellious, leave that looming pile of washing for now.

Instead...

🌳 Go sit under a tree
🌸 Smell a flower
πŸ“ Scribble it out
πŸ—ž Scrunch some paper
πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ Listen to a meditation
😴 Have an afternoon nap
πŸ› Take a bath
πŸ‘ Shake your hands and jump up and down
🎢 Dance and sing to your fav music
πŸ“– Read a book with your fav drink
πŸ•―Light a candle and do some journalling, letting that mind chatter flow out onto the page
🌌 Lay on the Earth and look at the sky
🧁 Make something delicious and eat it too
πŸ‘ Call a trusting friend for a random chat

( Luminescence The Mindfulness Mentor
always my go to...you're the best πŸ’œ)

πŸ’ž Be safe, look after yourself and thanks so much for being here!

Sending magical creative vibes out to you all

πŸ₯Ή An absolute honour to support this inspirational Woman! A big Congrats on achieving this awesome opportunity Abi, you're going to do such amazing things πŸ™ŒπŸŽ¨βœ¨οΈ and thank you so much Foundation Barossa for your ongoing support for our community πŸ₯°

We are thrilled to welcome Abi Hall as our inaugural Fran Clancy Memorial Scholarship recipient.

Foundation Barossa officially established the scholarship in July, in memory of Fran Clancy, who had sadly passed away from cancer.
Fran’s husband, Paul, wanted to create a lasting legacy that reflected her passion for the arts and her belief in giving young people opportunities.

The scholarship supports young people who face barriers to study and want to pursue education in the arts.

As the inaugural recipient of the Fran Clancy Memorial Scholarship, Abi is now closer to turning her love of art and teaching into a career that will benefit young people in local schools.

Abi said she first heard about the scholarship through her art therapist, Tara Kate, who works in the Barossa.

Abi plans to use the scholarship to complete a TAFE course in visual arts, which will allow her to add specialist art teaching to her qualifications. Abi’s interest in teaching began at school. β€œMy language teacher at school was really good,” she said. β€œIt made me really want to be a teacher like that for other students.”

The photo was taken at the Barossa Bushgardens, a physical place of remembrance for Fran, where a tree has also been planted with a memorial plaque recognising the bequest in her name.

Fran’s legacy will continue to support local young people through the scholarship.

A huge congratulations Abi for being our inaugural recipient.

As Fran’s husband Paul said β€œI am so pleased Abi has been awarded the first scholarship in Fran’s name. I’m sure Fran would be delighted that such a deserving recipient as Abi will be helped in her studies in the arts. Abi is a worthy recipient, and I warmly congratulate her.”
