đŋâ¨ī¸ A little walk in nature can truly work wonders...
đŖ Walking barefoot on the Earth can be incredibly grounding, and grass can feel like a foot massage
đ Noticing the details in nature is a mindful practice, supporting us to feel calm and connected to ourselves and beyond
đĒģ Appreciating the beauty in nature can instil gratitude and wonder within us and our environment
đ Discovering insects and animals can create curiosity, fascination and remind us that we're not alone
đ Changing our depth of vision from the distance, close up and in different directions can relieve tension
đŦ Noticing our senses such as the wind on our skin can reconnect us with ourselves and become aware of our bodies
đ These can be soooo helpful during times of dysregulation, low energy or anxiety, for gentle body movement, a break from looking at a screen, reflection or inspiration and it's free!
đĨ° These are all plants that I visited in my garden today, so I am feeling super grateful to have easy access to nature, and in awe at how many different leaves, flowers and seeds can be discovered when I slow down and actually look closely. I also feel amazed at how much each plant changes with the seasons in so many different ways - shape, colour, form đą
đ There are so so many more benefits to connecting with nature than I've listed here, but hey I guess I'm meant to be sharing a post, not an essay đ¤ Maybe I should write a book! đ
Enjoy đĻ
