Dr Pricilla had the privilege of speaking at the Australian Ophthalmic Nurses Association (AONA) CPD seminar at St John of God Subiaco, where she ‘Demystified Dry Eyes.’ It was fantastic to engage with a group of 30+ enthusiastic nurses who asked some excellent questions.

At Vision Care Eye Centre, we’re committed in spreading the awareness of dry eye disease amongst the community and allied health providers. As most people do not realise there is more to dry eye treatment than just using eye drops!

One of our patients has finished all of her vision therapy training! What a super star!

Vision therapy is a specialised form of treatment focused on enhancing visual abilities, specifically targeting areas such as eye movement, coordination/binocular vision issues, focusing, and lazy eyes.

We are so proud of her and the huge improvement she's made with her vision.

Last month, Dr Andrew and Dr Pricilla was invited to speak to the WA Bailey Nelson optometrists about three key topics: Myopia Control, Practical Binocular Vision in Practice, and The Patient Journey in a Public Hospital Setting.

They enjoy speaking to small and big groups to share their passion and knowledge on all things eyecare. The small and intimate setting helps create more meaningful discussion for learning and collaboration.

We hope by providing optometrists the knowledge on how to manage myopia, the prevalence of high myopia can be drastically reduced. This will mean there will be less people with visual impairment due to high myopia.

Dr Pricilla Ho was invited to present an interesting anterior eye case on herpetic keratouveitis to over 200 delegates on July 29th. This event, hosted by Optometry Western Australia and Early Careers Optometrist WA, brought together optometrists from all over Australia via Zoom.

Not only does Dr Pricilla enjoy spending her time getting to know her patients to provide better holistic eye care but she also enjoys emparting her experience and knowledge to others.
