If you’re waking up with a stiff neck, a nagging headache, or feeling like you need a "reboot" before your morning coffee, your pillow might be the culprit.

At The Back Dr, we see it all the time: patients investing in great mattresses but neglecting the one thing that supports their cervical spine for 8 hours a night.

Your pillow has one job: to fill the space between your ear and the mattress (for side sleepers) or your head and the mattress (for back sleepers).

If your legs and lower back fatigue easily, this is a simple one to build strength.

Wall squats help train your glutes, legs and core without needing much space or equipment.

Stand about a foot away from the wall.
Sit your hips back until your glutes touch the wall.
From there, lower into a comfortable squat position.

Hold for 30 to 60 seconds or move up and down with control.

Adjust your distance to find what feels challenging but manageable.

Simple movement. Done consistently, it builds strength where it matters.
