I want to know WHY?

When someone comes in with ongoing pain, I want to understand the why just as much as the where.
👉 Why is your back always flaring up after sitting?
👉 Why is your shoulder still stiff months after a strain?
👉 Why do your headaches get worse on Friday afternoons?

Understanding the story behind your symptoms lets us choose the right treatment.

It might be hands-on therapy, targeted rehab, jaw work, flexion distraction, dry needling—or just better strategies around posture and loading.

What’s the one area of your body you wish made more sense to you? Maybe we could figure it out together.

❓ Ever feel like your balance just isn’t what it used to be ❓

Whether you’re recovering from an ankle injury, dealing with hip stiffness, have had a recent virus/illness or just feeling less steady than usual, balance is something I test and treat in clinic.

Using tools like the Measurz app, proprioception drills, and/or specific vestibular testing we can figure out where the disconnect is—whether it’s the foot, the hip, or how your brain is interpreting those signals.

Improving balance isn’t just about reducing falls. It’s about rebuilding confidence in how you move—especially as you age or return to sport.

For me, It's about ultimate Dad life. When I'm strong and balanced, I get to do this ⬇️ safely with my daughter and show up for her the way I want too 🫶💜

Is feeling unsteady or off balance stopping you from showing up for the people that mean the most to you in your life?

😴 Let’s talk sleep—and more importantly, how you prepare for it.

Good quality sleep doesn’t just happen when your head hits the pillow—it starts hours before.

I often coach patients on how they set themselves up from the start of their day and their pre-sleep routine (or lack of one), affects how deeply they rest and how refreshed they feel in the morning.

This could include;
🌞 setting your circadian rhythm by seeing the sun each morning (no sunglasses allowed) and the sunset in the evening
🌀 breathwork to calm the nervous system (I personally love the Wim Hof method!)
🤸‍♀️ gentle stretches to release tension from the spine and hips, neck and jaw
🧘‍♀️ or even light mobility work to reduce that “tossing and turning” feeling

When we help the body shift from fight-or-flight mode into rest-and-repair mode, it’s much easier to fall into deep sleep—and stay there.

Patients often tell me they wake up less stiff and more clear-headed when they start implementing these kinds of habits. It’s not just about sleep quantity—it’s the quality that matters most.

What helps you get the best quality of sleep? Let me know your secret to success below ⬇️

🤯 Every injury has a story—and sometimes, the key to fixing it isn’t in the area that hurts

👉 You might come in for heel pain, but we end up addressing hip stability.
👉 Or shoulder tightness that’s actually driven by your rib cage not moving properly.

👏 That’s the beauty of an evidence-based, whole-body approach. We’re not just chasing symptoms—we’re tracking patterns.

Through hands-on assessment, functional testing, and open conversations about your health history, we uncover what’s really going on. And that lets us get results that last.

💡 Have you had a past injury that didn’t make sense at the time—until someone looked at the bigger picture?

One of the most overlooked factors in recovery?

🌀 Breathing 🌀

Breathing isn’t just about oxygen.
It impacts
👉 core stability,
👉 rib movement,
👉 postural tension,
👉 and even neck and jaw tightness.

I often see people who unconsciously breathe shallow through their chest all day—especially if they sit at a desk, deal with stress, or are recovering from rib or back issues.

Part of what we work on might be mobility through your mid-back and ribs, jaw release techniques, and gentle cueing around diaphragmatic breathing.

💥 If your upper traps are always tight or you feel like you’re “bracing” all day long, this might be a piece of the puzzle 💥

🌀 Have you ever noticed how your breath changes when you're stressed or sore?

⚠️ Movement is medicine—but not all movement is created equal ⚠️

👉 When you're recovering from an injury or trying to prevent one, the type of movement you do matters.

👉 I'm a big believer in building strength and stability around movement patterns you actually use in daily life—lifting, reaching, walking, bending, even sitting.

👉 We use tools like the MAT system and the Muscle Meter to pinpoint where you're strong and where things are compensating. That allows us to create a rehab plan that’s not just theory—it’s based on real data from your own body. It's also why I keep the exercises specific, simple, and effective.

💥 You don’t need an hour in the gym. You need the right few minutes done consistently.

What’s one movement your body always seems to struggle with?

Truth: Rehab doesn’t have to be intimidating 💪

A lot of people think rehab means long workouts, gym memberships, or 10+ exercises to remember.
BUT - the best rehab plans are the ones that are
👉 doable,
👉 repeatable, and
👉 relevant to your life

After an injury—especially ones like ankle sprains, back flare-ups or rotator cuff strains—the body often needs help “waking up” certain muscles. If you don’t rebuild that strength, you can feel like you never quite got back to 100%.

That’s why I use digital muscle testing to figure out what’s weak or underperforming, then build a short and sharp rehab routine. You don’t need to be perfect—you just need a plan that helps your body trust movement again.

Is there an old injury you’ve just learned to live with? It might be easier to fix than you think.

Chiropractic isn’t just “getting cracked.”

I get this question a lot: “What actually happens during a session with you?”

Here’s the truth: my approach is built around what works best for you.
That might include spinal adjustments—but also
👉 soft tissue release,
👉 dry needling,
👉 muscle testing,
👉 joint mobilisations,
👉 or using the flexion-distraction table (a gentle spinal decompression technique).

We use tools like the Muscle Meter to objectively test how your muscles are performing, so your care is based on real data—not guesswork. Then we talk through what you’re comfortable with. You can always say yes or no to a treatment technique.

At the end of the day, my role is to guide, support and educate—not to “fix” you. That’s what evidence-based care looks like.

Have you ever had care that felt truly tailored to you?

Let’s talk headaches—and how they’re often more than “just a headache.”

A large number of the headaches I treat in clinic start from...

👉 dysfunction in the neck.
They’re called cervicogenic headaches, and they’re often missed.

With a cervicogenic headache you might feel the pain
👉 behind your eyes,
👉 at the base of your skull,
👉 or wrapping around your head like a band

These types of headaches are often caused by tightness in the upper neck muscles, jaw tension, or restricted joint movement. I’ve seen great results using a combination of gentle neck adjustments, jaw release work, and specific stretching strategies to relieve that pressure and reset how your neck and jaw function together.

Sometimes the solution to head pain starts with the neck—or even the hips and posture further down the chain.

💥 Here's the kicker - Everything is connected, and your care should reflect that 💥

Do your headaches come with a stiff neck or jaw? Or do they show up after sitting or stress even?

👂 Listen up! If you work with your hands, lift heavy things, or spend long hours on your feet—your body is your livelihood.

For contractors, tradies, and business owners, missing work due to injury doesn’t just cost you physically—it costs you financially. 👉 That’s why maintenance care matters.

I’m not talking about over-treatment or coming in forever. I’m talking about staying ahead of those flare-ups that knock you out of action when you least expect it.

Whether it’s a tight lower back, stiff neck, or something that “just doesn’t feel right,” regular care can keep your body running smoothly.

We use techniques like flexion distraction to relieve spinal pressure, soft tissue release to address stubborn tightness, and targeted rehab to strengthen the areas that take a daily beating.

Important question 👉 When was the last time you checked in with your body before it broke down?

⚠️ One of the most important parts of what I do is problem solving ⚠️

When someone comes in with pain—whether it’s back pain, headaches, jaw tension or joint stiffness—I’m not just looking at where it hurts. I’m looking at how your body is functioning as a whole.

Take shoulder pain for example. It’s rarely just the shoulder.
It might be coming from
👉 limited mobility in your thoracic spine
👉 poor activation in your lower traps
👉 or even neck tension that’s throwing off your scapular control

Through a mix of hands-on assessment, digital muscle testing, and targeted movement screening, we start to piece together why the pain is happening—and more importantly, what to do about it!

My job isn’t to give you a one-size-fits-all fix. It’s to tailor a plan based on your body’s patterns. That’s what makes the difference between short-term relief and long-term change.

🌀 What’s something about your body that surprised you when you learned more about it?

💡 Sometimes it’s not about doing more—it’s about doing things better

I see a lot of people come in with a long list of exercises they’ve been told to do... but still in pain. The issue usually isn’t motivation—it’s direction. When we get clear on what your body actually needs, suddenly the work feels more purposeful.

That’s why I use tools like digital muscle testing. It gives us specific information on which muscles are underperforming or compensating, and we focus on the few things that’ll make the biggest difference. Not 20 exercises—just the right ones.

Whether we’re working on rehab after an injury or trying to prevent a flare-up, the goal is always to build strength and movement that actually works for your life.

💡 What’s something you’ve tried to “push through” that might’ve needed a smarter, not harder, approach?
