A nice turn out today for event #394 at Oakey parkrun with 43 participants, eight first timers to Oakey and three pb’s recorded by Courtney Banks, Tracey Wilson and Grace Grant, congratulations!

We welcomed visitors from Main Beach, Sunshine Coast, Pittsworth, Gatton, Highfields and Toowoomba.

We had several milestones achieved today by Sarah Wolski (100), Ben Fenton (100), Melissa Robbins (50) and Kate Paige (300). Congratulations to all - well done! Apologies if any of these were missed in the proceedings.

Thank you to the awesome volunteers today for making the event possible: Valma Cahill, Ken Cahill, Steve Evans, Amy Gamble, Clayton Paige, Irene Weston and Sarah Wolski.

Hi everyone

Get into the Easter spirit on Saturday at event #394 at Oakey parkrun for a walk, run or jog. A great opportunity for a pb with perfect conditions predicted or just take it easy and enjoy the serenity of Oakey parkrun and friendly vollies and participants 🐰🐥🐣

You may even be lucky enough to spot our resident koala mascot! There will be plenty of easter eggs at the finish line to top off the day 🐣🐥🐥.

Let us know if you are visiting or celebrating a milestone. First timer brief begins at 6:45am followed by the full briefing at 6:50 and start at 7.00am 😊.

Don’t forget your barcode or if you are not registered you can register at www.parkrun.com.au/ if you wish to receive a time and finish place.

We still require a course checker for this Saturday. Also our roster is looking very lean for the 11th April. Please message if you can help, thanks. Parkrun does not run unless we have a full roster of volunteers. All roles are quite easy and we supply training beforehand if you have not performed the role so if you have not volunteered in a while here is your opportunity.
