Receiving massage has always given me so much insight into the nuances of massage. Knowing what something feels like or how that part of the body feels when being worked or touched. Does it like broad pressure or direct, is it sensitive or durable? In my opinion all these intricacies are crucial in understanding how to allow the nervous system to feel safe so the musculature can release. Dial down the "threat" and move out of a sympathetic nervous system state into parasympathetic or a "healing state", peel back the "armour " .
As I'm committed to keep learning as a therapist I am committed to keep receiving. An acceptable occupation hazard 😃

Spending time with Arjhan Pichest wasn't like a western classroom, very much an apprenticeship. Learning to observe, feel and sense, to understand but not from the mind. "Easy to see, how to do" Pichest would say which was the ultimate aim. "Little bit, little bit " in the right direction, helping to heal another. One of the happiest most fulfilling times in my journey of life so far, also loving my life right now 🙏
