𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 🎃
This project represents the beginning of my healing journey. The first time I trusted my vision completely and didn’t allow my anxiety to control my decisions. This character was someone I imagined myself as when I was at my lowest throughout my life and felt weak. I imagined myself as someone who was strong, who felt comfortable saying no, and establishing boundaries. Someone who wasn’t afraid to walk away, and begin again. I turned the negative perceptions of myself into something I could instead embrace and celebrate. It’s bittersweet to look back on these photos after 7 years. When I originally came to Brendan in 2018 and said I’d love to work together on a project, I never imagined it growing into what it is today. With now 6 characters, and many different looks for Trixy, it has truly been a treat watching her evolve throughout the past 7 years. Thank you for continuing to support me and my work. I may never have the right words to say, but know that no time you’ve showed up for me has ever gone unnoticed or unappreciated. I am grateful to once again create for Trixy this year and look forward to sharing what I have in store this season. Thank you again for your patience, and most of all, for your love.
