Share your ideas and help us design our new Disability Strategy!
Come along to our community consultation sessions in Bathurst next week. We want to make sure people with disability get to have a say in the services that support them in western NSW. We want to hear about:
✅ what is working well,
✅ what is not working, and
✅ where things could be better.
🚩Where: Bathurst RSL (Heritage Room), 114 Rankin Street, Bathurst.
🚩Dates and times:
1️⃣ Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. This session is for people with intellectual disability and their family or carers.
2️⃣ Wednesday 22 April 2026, from 3.30pm to 5.00pm. This session is for people with any kind of disability and their family or carers.
We want to better meet the needs of people with disabilities in western NSW, by:
✅ making our health services easier to access, more welcoming and inclusive.
✅ listening and communicating better with people with disability, their families and carers.
✅ being a good employer of people with disability.
The new Disability Strategy will describe how we will work to achieve these things.

You don't have to tell us if you are coming, but it will help us if you do. We can make sure there:
- is enough space, tea and coffee for everyone.
