Done and done! Another year, another Surf Coast Century team effort for the Allied Physio crew - 100km of beach, trails, and lots of hills. We were down the rock wallaby Jem, who is back next week from his Europe adventure, but joined by client and clinic friend Woody, as well as Joe Pash from Aireys Physio. A solid effort by all who partook and fun day out!!

Phil Nash has joined the team at Allied Physiotherapy, Ocean Grove. Welcome!!

A born and bred local, Phil is a hands on Osteo and Strength/Conditioning Coach with a passion for movement.

Recently returning to the area after a lap of the country, Phil has availability as early as tomorrow, so if you're in need, lock him down before word gets out.

We are very happy to announce that Allied Physiotherapy has moved into a new location. Starting from Tuesday, 10th June 2025, all appointments that were scheduled for 260 Thacker St Ocean Grove Allied Health, will now take place at:

This move is an exciting step forward for our clients and team. As we gradually transition into the new space, our aim will be to create a warm, welcoming, and purpose-built environment that enhances your physiotherapy experience with us - and helps us live out our mission of "inspiring a healthier community by connecting people with their bodies capacity for Healing, Growth, Optimisation - and Each Other."

We'd like to take this moment to give a big shout out to Marianne and Michael Nicol for accommodating us at Ocean Grove Allied Health the past 3 years. Their support was crucial in enabling our service to evolve to where it has. And we wish new owners, Bellarine Psychology, all the best in taking on a new chapter for the facility.

Appointments booked at the GYM Clinic will remain the same, with all GLA:D, Clinical Exercise Groups and 1:1 appointments continuing as scheduled at 22 Sinclair St Ocean Grove in the Industrial Estate.

Your appointment times and the team you know remain unchanged. If you have any questions or need help finding us, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

And we're off! Hope everyone has had a great start to 2025.

After some staggered leave, our little team has regrouped and are back in the clinic ready to help you achieve your muskuloskeletal goals.

The GLA:D® journey with Allied Physiotherapy typically consists of...

📋 Pre-GLA:D - 1:1 appointment/s with your physio to assess your condition, explain the program, measure your current ability, and set you up with everything you need to prime you for the program
📚 Week 1 consists of two Educational sessions which teach you about Osteoarthritis, its risk factors, treatment options and self management strategies. 
🏋️‍♀️ Weeks 2-7 involve Group Exercise sessions twice a week to improve your control, confidence and strength of the joint. 
📈 A 1:1 review at 3 months with your Physio to discuss your progress and goals, and re-measure your functional ability. 
📅 Completion of a questionnaire upon registration, then again at 3+12 months after registration to measure changes in areas such as pain, function, quality of life and medication use.
