Creativity is in full bloom at Sea Views Manor. Residents have been getting crafty and designing their very own handmade fascinators just in time for the Spring Racing Carnival.

With feathers, flowers, and plenty of laughter, the room was buzzing with creativity as each resident added their personal touch to these stunning headpieces.

We’re very excited to show off these fabulous creations during our upcoming celebrations—stay tuned for more carnival fun and flair!

Celebrating International Coffee Day at Sea Views Manor! To mark this special day, the activity room was transformed into a cozy café.

The Residents enjoyed a delicious set menu of freshly baked chocolate and lemon cakes, along with coffee scrolls and iced coffee which was definitely a favourite!

A big thank you to students Harrison and Chase, who joined us during their school holidays to take and deliver orders.

With soft café music, scenic visuals, tablecloths, flowers, and fine China, it truly felt like a day out at our very own Sea Views Café. ☕️

This week at Sea Views Manor, residents enjoyed a very special visit from two adorable lambs – Chloe (3 months old) and Wynston (just 3 days old) lovingly brought in by Kently!

Chloe’s playful curiosity and Wynston’s sweet snuggles brought laughter, joy, and plenty of heartwarming memories. Residents shared stories of farm life and reminisced about their own experiences.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful pets can be, fostering emotional well-being, reducing stress, and sparking conversation and connection.

A big thank you to Kently at Sea Views Manor for making this magical visit possible. We can’t wait to see which furry (or woolly!) friends he introduces us too next! 🐑💙

Sea Views Manor is proud to celebrate Wendy, one of the incredible Enrolled Nurses who has been part of the Sea Views Manor family for 10 years!

Recently, Wendy gifted the home a beautifully handcrafted, framed cross stitch of The Ode— honoring past, current and future residents who have served in so many ways.

This special gift will be proudly displayed near the homes Wall of Remembrance, where it will stand as a lasting symbol of respect, reflection and gratitude.

Wendy’s compassion, care and dedication are some of the many things that make the team special at Sea Views Manor. Thank you, Wendy, for this meaningful contribution to the home.

The Homestyle Executive Team fired up the BBQ at Sea Views Manor to thank staff for their fantastic efforts in the 2025 Homestyle Staff Survey.

CEO, Tim Humphries, also had the pleasure of presenting Milestone Awards to three wonderful team members — congratulations to Wendy, Lauretta and Wendy!

It was a day of great food, recognition, and connection with staff and residents.

To celebrate National Chocolate Milkshake Day, residents and Lifestyle team at Sea Views Manor took a trip down memory lane in our very own retro-style diner!

With classic tunes playing and special menus in hand, residents chose from a line-up of favourite flavours — Chocolate Malt, Strawberry, Banana, Coffee, Vanilla, Caramel, and even a Canadian-inspired Maple suggested by the wonderful Ally.

The milkshakes were as sweet as the smiles they brought, as residents reminisced about days gone by, shared stories, laughter, and of course, enjoyed every sip. 🥰

The gents from Sea Views Manor recently enjoyed a fascinating day out at the Bellarine Police Station.

Residents were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour, where they learned about the station's daily operations, visited the uniform rooms, held a 5kg police vest, and – of course – experienced the highlight of the day: stepping inside the holding cells and trying out the handcuffs!

One of the most touching moments came from Lindsay, a resident, who proudly shared that his father, Donald Williams, was the first police constable at the Ocean Grove Police Station — a wonderful family legacy that added a rich layer of meaning to the visit.

A heartfelt thank you to the Bellarine Police team for their warm hospitality and for continuing to strengthen the bond between the residents and the wider community.

In Australia, August 1st is officially celebrated as the birthday of all horses. This tradition helps standardise horse ages for racing and breeding purposes, and it's also a wonderful excuse to celebrate these beautiful animals.

At Sea Views Manor, the residents joined in the fun with a heartwarming visit from two delightful miniature ponies — Storm and Tinkerbell as well as Claude the mischievous lamb.

Laughter, joy, and sweet memories filled the morning as residents patted the ponies and reminisced about country life, farm visits, and childhood adventures.

A big thank you to Kent, Ebony Storm, Tinkerbell and Claude the lamb for bringing smiles, sparkles, and snuggles to our home! 🐴❤️

Winter is the perfect time to bring a little green indoors! The amazing lifestyle team at Sea Views Manor recently helped residents create their very own terrariums, a beautiful way to stay connected with nature and watch something grow.

Gardening isn’t just about flowers and veggies. For the residents, it’s a source of self-esteem, joy, and meaningful connections. Tending to these little gardens nurtures confidence and brings people together in the most heartwarming ways 🏡

The residents and staff turned up the warmth and fun for a Pyjama Day at Sea Views Manor.

The morning kicked off with a hilarious newspaper race; two residents racing down taped-together newspaper runways. Congratulations to Joy, our speedy champion! Then came the pyjama parade, where residents voted for Best Dressed. For the second year running, our all-rounder Kent took the crown and passed it on to Carol, whose vibrant matching set stole the show! In the afternoon, the Lifestyle team (with help from our amazing student volunteers) delivered hot chocolate with marshmallows and yummy treats door-to-door.

Here's to staying cozy and connected this winter! 🧸

July 21 is National Lamington Day. A big thank you to Lord Lamington for his marvellous invention, the beloved Aussie treat that brings back sweet memories and even sweeter smiles! Today, the residents of Sea Views Manor enjoyed making delicious lamingtons while reminiscing about their favourite kitchen moments and the meals they lovingly prepared for family over the years. The taste of tradition never gets old!
