Don’t be mistaken by the smiles even though they are smiles of happiness… to be reunited with my beautiful son 🩵
I thought today, I would share a different story, away from the bling bling and sometimes forced happiness that gets shared on social media.
On last Sunday… the same day my son was landing in Paris to spend 3 weeks with me, I was admitted to the hospital… in Paris.
What a synchronicity 🤷🏻♀️
When he booked his ticket months ago, little did we know this would happen.
A month ago, I started noticing my breathing was changing. I’ve never had any lungs or breathing issues, so for me it was something unusual.
I started tuning in and as days went by, I had this feeling of loosing strength, energy, capacity of thinking and, my breathing was becoming heavier and heavier.
Two weeks ago, I took myself to the emergency ward at the hospital in Poitiers and even though they did an X-ray and noticed some fluid in my lungs, they let me go home… yes they did… completely minimising what was going on.
My body started breaking even more down to the point where I couldn’t lie down, sleep, breathe and I seriously thought my time was up.
To cut a long story short, I was admitted to a different hospital in Paris when they realised I had 2L of fluid in each lung, which is called in the medical world pleurisy.
TWO litres!!! WTF…
They drained the fluid out and finally I was becoming alive again.
If it wasn’t for the strong network of friends, family on both continents, energy healers, the team at the hospital and… my awareness… who knows what would have happened to me.
In summary, don’t take life and people for granted.
Life is precious, temporary, nothing is ever certain and one thing is sure: we control nothing even when we think we do!
Love yourself enough to be your own priority, cherish the people that count in your life, again and again.
Never give up on yourself 💕💕
