🎅 The SLR Social Club wrapped up the year with a festive Christmas BBQ! 🎄

We shared good food, opened gifts and enjoyed plenty of laughs and conversation.

It’s been a big year, and we’re proud of the friendships that have grown through this space 🧡

The Southern Light Respite Social Club is all about connection. It’s a friendly, inclusive space where we come together, enjoy local activities and build genuine relationships.

Cooking, confidence and Christmas spirit at SLR 🍪🎄

As Christmas approaches, it’s that time of year when we all love to show off our cooking and baking skills and share what we make with the people we love.

At Southern Light Respite, we create a supportive space where participants can build confidence in the kitchen. From cookies to Nutella pizzas to waffles, there’s always something delicious being made. 🍕🧇

Whether it's in our modern kitchen, on the BBQ or in the pizza oven, participants are encouraged to cook, create and enjoy the process with support workers right beside them.

It’s not just about cooking.
It’s about building independence, sharing joy and making memories to bring home 🧡

Because we believe respite should feel like home.

Our Pokémon-themed Monopoly is always a favourite.
