A Christmas & New Year Update from Autistic GEM!

As we come to the end of the year and move into the Christmas season, we wanted to pause and share an important update with our Autistic GEM community; with care, honesty, and deep gratitude.

At the end of 2025, Autistic GEM will be closing as a standalone service.

This space has held so much; identity-affirming support, trust, growth, and meaningful work alongside autistic children, adults, and families. We are profoundly grateful to every family who allowed us into their lives and trusted us with this journey.

This isn’t an ending - it’s an evolution.

What’s Next
From January 2026, the values, people, and ways of working you know will continue through Our NeuroTribe a neurodivergent-led social enterprise co-created by Kelly and Sky.

Through Our NeuroTribe, Kelly will continue offering Developmental Education, assessments, and therapy-style support, alongside identity-affirming family and capacity-building support.

Our NeuroTribe is being shaped as a space for connection, learning, employment pathways, and community, designed to be sensory-safe, practical, and grounded in lived experience.

As we move into Christmas and toward the New Year, we’re choosing rest, reflection, and time with our families and stepping into 2026 with intention, clarity, and hope.

📣 I’m back!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few weeks while I took some much-needed personal leave. I truly appreciate the space to step back and focus on things at home; it means the world to me.

I’m gradually easing back into sessions this week and am excited to reconnect with all of you.

In the coming weeks, I will also be sharing some exciting changes we’ve been working on behind the scenes. I can’t wait to reveal what’s coming next!

🌿 Service Update – Temporary Pause 🌿

Hello everyone,

I wanted to inform you that I will be taking an unexpected personal leave. My last day of sessions will be this Friday, and I plan to return to work on Tuesday, June 17.

Like many of the families I support, I am navigating the beautiful and complex reality of raising a neurodivergent household. At this moment, it is important for me to step back and focus fully on my home life so that I can continue to be present in a grounded and sustainable way.

During this time, all sessions will be put on hold, and I won’t be available to check messages or emails until I return. I truly appreciate your understanding and ongoing support.

If you need assistance before my return, I encourage you to reach out to your wider care team. Please know that I will be back soon, ready to reconnect and continue our work together. 💛
