NURSEPRENEUR:
“A nursepreneur is a nurse who combines clinical expertise with innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship to create impact beyond traditional healthcare settings.”

I’ve been a registered nurse for 20 years, worked in cosmetic medicine for 15, and five years ago opened my own clinic in Orange — which has now grown into a beautiful team offering more than 200 services.

Running a business in today’s climate means you have to get creative. What started as ways to grow our profile ended up growing something far more meaningful. We brought glamour back to fashions on the field, sponsored our local women’s rugby team and love raising the profile women’s sport. We even pole danced to raise money for .

But the work I’m most proud of came from recognising that our region has one of the highest rates of domestic violence in the state.

We were the proud original co sponsors of a locally seeded charity that has grown to national level.

We trained our team to better support women, created a space where people feel safe, and even housed a trauma counsellor for a period of time.

What started as community engagement became a reminder of why we got into nursing in the first place — to care for people.

And I truly believe when businesses invest in their communities, the return is far greater than profit — it creates connection, purpose, and real change.

A belated Happy International Nurses Day to our incredible registered nurses, Kylie and Nancy.

With extensive experience in operating theatres and oncology, they bring an exceptional level of clinical skill and knowledge to our clinic, helping us maintain the highest standards of care every single day.

But it’s so much more than their expertise. The care, compassion, and genuine kindness they show every patient is evident in everything they do — and it’s a big part of why so many of you continue to come back time and time again.

We are so grateful to have Kylie and Nancy as part of our team. Thank you both for everything you do for our patients, our clinic, and our community.
