Strengthening GP + Dietitian Collaboration 🤝🌟

Our director Claire Ward joined forces with Dr Catherine Crane of to talk with the amazing GPs at Colour City Medical Practice, about weight loss medications and nutrition, and how we can better support people on their health journey 🧡

Why this matters ⬇️
🔹 GPs are often the first point of call for people starting weight loss medications – they play a key role in assessing for suitability, and screening for nutritional deficiencies.
🔹 A strong care team of a GP and dietitian means individuals get the right support, from both body and mind perspectives.
🔹 True weight management is holistic – it’s not just about food or medication. Genetics, finances, social situations, mental health, and knowledge all influence health outcomes.
🔹 By educating and collaborating with GPs, we help ensure that every individual gets safe, personalised, and compassionate care.
