💜 Beyond grateful. 💜

We didn’t take home a trophy (or remember to get a photo together) at the 2025 Orange Business Awards, but to be a finalist in three categories was an honour in itself.

The other finalists were truly incredible - and it was such a privilege to be considered alongside them. Last night was a celebration of the amazing small businesses that make Orange thrive, and we’re proud to stand among them.

We’re so proud of the hard work our team puts in every single day, and how far we’ve come in such a short time. This journey has never been about awards, it’s about people, purpose, and building a stronger, more inclusive community.

Thank you to our team, participants, and supporters for being part of this. We’ll always keep learning, growing, and striving to be better.

🎳 The gals hit the lanes!

Suz (our resident bowling champ) spent some time teaching three rookies the tricks of the trade, and it turned into such a fun day out. Mel even left feeling motivated to keep bowling more often!

We love seeing participants come together, and it’s been especially special watching Suz and Mel’s friendship grow. 💜

✨ Meet Zac! ✨

Zac is one of our newest participants, and he’s honestly the most fun to be around! 🙌

Over the weekend we had the best time together, meeting Lil’s horse Ace 🐴, checking out the car museum 🏎️, cruising around Mount Panorama, and even squeezing in some shopping 🛍️.

We’re so excited to have Zac on board and can’t wait for many more adventures ahead! 💜

This is Percy 🤍
He's been practicing one of his favourite signs: “It’s perfect.”
And honestly? It was.

We use Key Word Sign with Percy, a communication method that uses signs and gestures alongside speech to support understanding. It’s not the same as Auslan (which is a full language), but it’s a powerful tool, especially for people who are developing speech or have limited verbal communication.

💬 Why it matters:
Key signing supports language development, reduces frustration, and helps people express themselves more confidently. It’s simple, inclusive, and opens up more ways to connect.

🌟 What’s been happening at AccessLife? 🌟

It’s been a busy few weeks here, and we love keeping you in the loop! 💜

🔹 Good Times Events - We had our Neon themed Disco on the weekend and it was a huge hit, so much dancing and fun! Stay tuned for our next event soon!
🔹 New Participants - We’ve welcomed some amazing new faces into our community (like Zac & Piper 👋), and it’s been incredible getting to know their goals and interests.
🔹 Community Access - Our team has been out and about supporting people to do the things they love - whether that’s shopping, sport, adventures or just enjoying a coffee with friends.
🔹 Growth Behind the Scenes - We’re working on getting registered to make sure we keep delivering the best support possible.

At AccessLife, it’s not just about services, it’s about creating a life full of opportunities, connections, and good times. ✨
