October is ADHD Awareness Month, and at AccessLife, we’re proud to say that neurodiversity isn’t just something we support - it’s part of who we are.
Our Managing Director, Marea, and some of our staff and participants live with ADHD. We see firsthand every day that ADHD is not a deficit, it’s a different operating system. It brings creativity, hyper-focus, out-of-the-box problem solving, and an unmatched drive to make things happen. (…and a little chaos)
💡 Did you know?
• ADHD affects around 1 in 20 Australians.
• It often runs in families.
• People with ADHD are statistically more likely to become entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators.
At AccessLife, we recognise ADHD as a strength, not a shortcoming. We design our workplace around flexibility, understanding, and celebrating the different ways our brains work - because diversity in thinking makes our support stronger.
💬 Tell us - what’s one ADHD “superpower” you’ve seen or experienced?
