Due to unforeseen family circumstances I will be finishing up work earlier than expected. This coming week will be my last in the clinic until I return mid next year. I just wanted to thank all my lovely clients for being patient with me during my pregnancy and for continuing to invest in your health through acupuncture. Please continue to take care of yourselves while I’m off in the land of motherhood. Please see Rebecca Cannon (0415 144 366) on Anson street, Rachel Simpson ‭(02 9438 5008‬) also on Anson street or Chris Booth ‭(02 6361 8429‬)at Anula healing while I’m gone. All are wonderful, supportive and talented Chinese Medicine practitioners who can continue to help you reach your health goals.
With love and a full heart I say goodbye. Haeley.

These beautiful peony roses picked from my garden were sitting pride of place in my clinic this week. Loved all the more because the root of the white peony is a very commonly used Chinese herb. Bai Shao is a cool and slightly sour herb used to nourish the blood and disperse liver qi. A favourite herb of mine that I use frequently especially for women’s health.

The Clinic will be closed for the first week of April but there are still a few spots available on the 12th.

If you have ever been in to see me you have most probably heard me suggest meditation. I tend to talk about it a lot. Giving yourself time and space. How important it is. How helpful it can be.
Most responses to this are "I don't know how", "I don't have time", "can going to the gym count". Funnily enough these are all excuses I use too. But you know; when we make it a priority, when we make time, when we practise regularly we get time back through better productivity, through clarity and we get better at it the more we practise.
So do yourself a favour today.
Give yourself 5 minutes. Use the smiling mind app, listen to some favourite music, sit in the sun and have a cup of tea or lie in a swing staring at the sky like this sweetie. All these things are what meditation is about. Being still, reconnecting and allowing you to breathe and just be.

The research shows the positive effect of acupuncture with headaches & migraines.

Not only is it Women's Health Week (www.jeanhailes.org.au) here in Australia currently, but next week it is National Migraine & Headache Week.(www.headacheaustralia.org.au)

We are proud to share the current research of how Chinese Medicine can assist sufferers & we hope that this amazing healing treatment can be offered to more patients by practitioners as accredited CMBA (AHPRA) registered Acupuncturists in the future!

CMBA registration means a practitioner has a minimum 900 hours of clinical practice, and has a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) or equivalent and above and is under stringent codes and guidelines to practice what they do, for the best and safest outcomes.

Dry needling is NOT acupuncture.

Practitioners of dry needling are not required to be regulated by AHPRA, and often do a weekend course, it is not comparable.
