Our 3 Rivers Fishing Group had an overnight camp out at Uncle Ralph Naden's culture camp at Balladoran recently. The men had the privilege to engage in some cultural activities didge and coolamon cutting and story telling . The men had one-on-one yarns with our care and recovery practitioner about their current social and emotional wellbeing and were able to create a positive plan for themselves and their mental health, leading into the Christmas period. Some funny yarns was shared and memories made - all while being out on Country.

Deadly!

This Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, we’re celebrating the incredible work happening on Wiradjuri Country at Orange Aboriginal Medical Service OAMS).

Through culturally safe care and the option of self-collection, OAMS has transformed cervical screening into a process grounded in respect, choice, and confidence. Today, around three-quarters of eligible women at OAMS choose self-collection, because they feel safe, supported, and in control.

Every conversation matters. Every woman deserves care that respects her story. Together, we’re moving closer to eliminating cervical cancer.
