Today’s a big day … in fact it’s a silver anniversary day! Happy anniversary to me 👏
You see, on this day, December 13, 2️⃣5️⃣ years ago, I was awarded my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. So with my piece of paper tucked under my arm, I returned to Orange in 1998 and here we are in 2022 still going stronger than ever.
To celebrate this milestone, my family and I recently revisited my alma mater in Atlanta, Georgia. The photo below is the monument at the university entrance. It heralds and welcomes all who visit the uni and is also a memorial to all those chiropractors who went before me, who were either arrested or incarcerated for providing chiropractic care to their communities. Their “crime” …. practicing medicine without a licence! 🤷
When I first arrived back in Orange in 1998 and set up practice,I was one of only three chiropractors in town. These days, that number has tripled but despite this, Orange Chiro continues to grow and thrive because of the kind referrals of those who experience our care. It is this fact that I’m most proud of; the success of Orange Chiro is built upon the recommendations those who we serve.
Over the past quarter of a century, more than 10,000 people in our community have entrusted me with their spinal health care needs. In fact, I’m now starting to see the third generation of families who first saw me in the late 90s and early 00s (doesn’t make me feel old at all 😂).
So today, I’m saying a big thank you to each and every person who’s trusted me with your spinal health care needs for without you and your kind referrals, this professional journey of mine would have been short lived.
I’m also saying a big thank you to each of the chiropractic pioneers who’s names adorn the monument at my old uni, for without y’all, this professional journey of mine wouldn’t have been possible.
And so the journey continues into 2023 and beyond and rest assured, my commitment to remaining the most trusted provider of chiropractic care to the people of Orange and surrounding communities is stronger than ever.
Thank you and merry Christmas 🎅
