is a not for profit, social movement for youth and families expressing self determination and being heard loud and clear in local communities. Our Youth are our future, and all community decisions should be made with Youth Leadership!! GIPPSYOUTH works to create fun, exciting and empowering spaces for youth and families of all walks of life. We have run our programs and events at Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust, Orbost Neighborhood House, at Orbost Exhibition Centre, Orbost Tennis Club and recently at Bemm River Neighbourhood House and the Bush fire Recovery Hub. Our Program was recently launched nationally in Brisbane and soon will be launched in Sydney, Alice Springs and Darwin. Our programs and events have had support from the Royal Flying Doctor service, East Gippsland Shire, Orbost Regional Health, Lakes community Health, Orbost Rotary, Save the children, Myvan and Primary Health Network. We value every contribution to our program in all it's diversity. From Nanna's whom Knit or bring their Grandchildren, Grandfather's whom create under cover spaces with gazebo's ECT, admin and tech savvy peeps, governance/decision making teams and especially the voices and participation of children and youth and families who's smiling faces make all of our collective efforts worthwhile. We believe in collaboration and creative thinking as a methodology to resolve even the most complex challenges. "What's gonna work, team work" lol- my kids still sing this funny but true mantra. We would love to hear from anyone keen to contribute in any way to this diverse platform and we especially appreciate all fundraising and donation efforts. Mahalo,
