Cases of the Flu are increasing in Gippsland.

👨‍👨‍👧 Immunisation and prevention are the best ways we can protect ourselves and our loved ones.
👶Anyone over six months of age can be immunised against the flu.
🤒We also recommend being immunised if you work or live with those at risk of serious complications.
👩‍⚕️You can even receive your flu vaccine at the same time as other vaccines including COVID-19.

Medical Services from home –
Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED) is a free service and available 24 hours per day.
An emergency clinician will provide guidance via a video call on medical matters that are urgent.

Orbost Regional Health is pleased to invite applications for part time Board Director positions, to commence on 1 July 2026. Appointments are for up to three years.

These positions provide an exciting opportunity for Victorians to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our communities. Applicants are selected for their capabilities, including personal and professional experience, knowledge, and skills that contribute to the strategic leadership and oversight of health care for the Victorian community.

To build an empowered and engaged leadership across the health system, our priority areas are people of all ages, First Nations people, people who live with a disability, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, people who identify as LGBTIQ+, the promotion of gender equality and upholding human rights.

Orbost Regional Health invites applications from anyone that may be interested, particularly those with expertise in the areas of law, financial management and accounting, or strategic leadership.
